Cady Connelly Photography, Central Coast Wedding Photographer, Wedding Photographer, Ragged Point Wedding, California Wedding Photographer, San Luis Obispo Wedding Photographer, Family Photographer Central Coast, California Photographer
My name is Cady Connelly, and I am a photographer on the central coast of California. I have always had a passion for photography, and I have been very fortunate to gain some amazing experience pursuing my dream. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Commercial Photography from the Brooks Institute in 2008. In addition to my schooling, I interned with Mark Leibowitz Photography where I had the opportunity to assist on several high-end shoots including a photo shoot for Glamour Magazine. The summer after I graduated I spent working for Jose Villa Photography and Allyson Magda Photography, two of the premier wedding photographers in the world.
I share my life with my husband Russ and our three sons -Ben, Ivan, and Johnny. They teach me new things every day and I’m so thankful to be apart of their lives.
I hope you enjoy looking at my site, and I hope that my experience and passion can help you with any of your photography needs.
She took such breathtaking pictures of our wedding. We now have beautiful pictures of our wedding day to cherish. Cady was great to work with. We highly recommend Cady. Thank you for the beautiful, wonderful memories and pictures, Cady!
- Ben & Gaby,
Breathtaking photographs
Cady was absolutely amazing to work with from start to finish! From the beginning, she was responsive and helpful in making our plan. She touched base frequently as the wedding got closer and looked for all the specific details to make our day perfect. She laid out a wonderful timeline, so we would be able to capture the sunset photos we wanted. She was so genuine and accommodating for all our photo requests, while adding so much of her own flair with the photographs. We could not be happier with our experience with Cady or the beautiful photographs we have to remember our wedding day!

Incredible to work with!
Cady was truly incredible to work with. She captured our day beautifully. Beyond the wonderful photography, she was thorough with planning all of the shots in the weeks ahead based on the sunset timing/the size of our families/etc. She also helped schedule our entire pre-ceremony and ceremony timeline to help the photography work best with the natural lighting, and to not waste any time where we could be with our guests. I would recommend Cady to anybody in a heartbeat!

Philosophy and Pricing
“You never know when you’ll walk by a picture. Always be ready”. -Bob Smith (Brooks Institute of Photography)
Your wedding day will be one of the most important days of your life; no matter the weather or the unexpected happenings. Being able to share in the memories that make up your wedding day is such an privilege to me. My philosophy on wedding photography is that it should not take over the day, but rather showcase your joy. Spending time with your new spouse, family and friends is paramount on your wedding day. I believe in helping my clients get the most out of their wedding day while capturing timeless portraits and photojournalistic candids.
Wedding day coverage starts at $3,000. Contact the studio below for more information.
FAQ
What is the best way to get in touch? -Email or calling are quickest for me to check, therefore I always recommend this method.
How do we secure our date? -Once your contract is signed and retainer is paid we are set!
How long before we get to see our photographs? -I send out a sneak peek within a week of the wedding. The rest will be released on your private online gallery within 4-6 weeks.
Do you have an assistant or second shooter? -I bring an assistant to all weddings over 80 guests. This is a photographer who can assist me, and sometimes you, with all types of wedding day needs. They also shoot lots of candids throughout the day. A second shooter is different in that they have a higher level of photography experience and/or their own photography business. They also specialize in wedding photography. Second shooters are recommended only for very large weddings and sometimes for certain unique photo sessions on the wedding day.
Do you have business insurance? -Absolutely, yes!
How long have you been photographing weddings? -I started photographing weddings in photography school, in all film, and then began assisting after I graduated. I have been assisting, editing, album designing, and photographing weddings for 10 years.
